To Copy a Physical Item
You can make a
copy of a physical item, providing your user account has the proper user
permissions.
Follow these steps to copy a physical item.
- Open the physical item that you want to copy.

From the
Object menu, select
Copy.
The Copy Item dialog appears. For example,
- Enter a new, unique, Item Number.
- You can enter a new or accept the current Version number.
- Select the properties and relationships from their respective tabs, that you want to copy to the new physical item.
- When you are finished, click Copy.
